Not one, but two films about the current US President are in the works as we speak – and one of them just snatched a talented young actor for the lead.
The aspiring, young, and handsome Devon Terrell has been cast to play the leader of the free world, of more precisely, the future leader, as the movie will follow Barack Obama’s time as a student in New York.
The movie, titled Barry, will detail young Obama’s experiences in NYC, during his political science studies, but also the way he forged his early key relationships.
Terrell will be joined by Anna Taylor-Joy, who recently starred in the horror hit The Witch. The aspiring actress will play a fellow student of Obama’s.
The movie will be directed by Vikram Gandhi, while the script was penned by Adam Mansbach. Shooting is set to start in April this year.
